SERVICE SQUADRON TEN
The ships of Service Squadron Ten were stationed at the forward bases/anchorages of the Pacific Fleet. They repaired battle damage and engineering casualties, returning ships to front line service or making them seaworthy for transit to rear area Navy Yards.
Service Squadron Ten maintained four Service Divisions; ServDiv 101 at Leyte, ServDiv 102 at Eniwetok, ServDiv 103 at Saipan, and ServDiv 104 at Okinawa. In addition it had repair ships at Ulithi. ServDiv 103 was to be assigned WAG Campbell as flagship and designated to move forward to Kyushu.
